LEADERSHIP

Managing Director

Jennifer Norrie Booth

I was always interested in the forces at play in economics and the excitement of the capital markets - in how ideas and creativity could take shape in a financial context. This set me on a course to equity capital markets, where I learned the interplay of trading, sales, investment banking and research, and later to corporate finance, where I gained an appreciation of the complexities of lending, mergers and acquisitions, risk management and compliance. I discovered that I was particularly fascinated by the influence of personalities and personal motivations in bringing financial solutions to life.

When I was living in London, England in the early 2000s, I began my career in executive search, initially joining a boutique in the City that focused on asset management and Family Offices. I then joined a broader Financial Services practice and had the opportunity to conduct senior level executive searches across Europe.  When I returned to Toronto, Canada in the 2010s, I joined Heidrick & Struggles, recruiting extensively across North America, predominantly for banking and payments executive roles. At Odgers Berndtson and later Arlington Partners, I continued to build on my expertise and extended my network into insurance and insurance brokerage.

I am driven to be a connector, a facilitator; to be the conduit that brings people together, with the combination creating more than the sum of its parts.  More than twenty years later, this is still what energizes me today.
